COUNSELLING FOR TEENS + YOUNG ADULTS

Whether it’s your first time attending counselling or you’ve been many times before, I know that you are courageous for taking that step to make it happen.

You do you, when you come to see me.
Kick off your shoes, sit cross-legged, look where you need to.
Let’s figure out how this will work for you.

Within the therapeutic relationship, I create a safe and trusted space where you feel comfortable exploring the feelings, thoughts, behaviours, relationships and experiences that you are struggling with.

I view counselling as a collaborative process, where together we will explore ideas and goals that will attempt to bridge the gap between where you are now, and where you would like to be in your life.

I will to listen to you and understand the things that matter to you, while looking for patterns that are revealed in your story. Together, we will talk about what I am noticing and how this information can be helpful to you.

Your counselling session is a time to learn and practice new skills, ways of thinking, and ways of being that can help to bring you closer to what you want to experience in life.

You’ve got this. I’m here to guide you.
